Lerman Appliances is a family-owned appliance repair company based in Sherman Oaks, California, serving Los Angeles, Ventura and Orange counties since 2002. We have completed more than 150,000 repairs, maintain a 80% first-visit success rate, and are a factory authorized service dealer for twelve manufacturers.
Finding a trustworthy appliance repair service can be a challenge. There are plenty of pitfalls — hidden charges added after the work is done, shoddy repairs, messy technicians and poor communication.
As a locally-run, family-owned business, our level of commitment to our customers is akin to that of one family member to another. We complete repairs correctly the first time and we do the job the way it should be done.
On fees, we always provide a written estimate that reflects the final bill. There is no chance of hidden fees appearing on completion. What we quote is what you pay.
Our repair team is one of the finest in Los Angeles. Several of our technicians have been part of the Lerman Appliances family for many years. Every engineer carries a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience, and they know exactly how we work: put the customer first, deliver a quality service.
Our engineers also explain what went wrong and how to look after the appliance. The aim is not only to repair the unit but to help you avoid the next callout.
Many repair services cut corners with inferior or imitation parts. We do not. Every part we fit is genuine and of the highest quality, and our trucks carry roughly 90% of the most commonly needed components — which is a large part of why we complete so many repairs on the first visit.
We are a factory authorized service dealer for Bertazzoni, Hestan, BEKO, Blomberg, Liebherr, Marvel, Speed Queen, True Residential, Pitt Cooking, Fagor, Faber and IKEA. For these brands we have completed manufacturer training and order parts directly through the manufacturer’s channel.
We service more than 40 additional brands as an independent servicer, always with genuine OEM parts.
Alongside home appliance repair we service commercial refrigeration, commercial ice machines and commercial cooking equipment for restaurants, cafes, bars and hospitality businesses across Los Angeles, Long Beach, Santa Monica and Orange County.
If our technicians successfully repair your appliance on the first visit, we waive the call-out fee. You save money, and we save time.

Yes. Estimates are free when you proceed with the repair, and we provide a written estimate that must be authorized by you before any work begins.
Every completed repair carries a 30-day warranty on labor and a 90-day warranty on parts. Some major components carry manufacturer warranties of up to 5 years. Your technician leaves a copy of the invoice with the specific warranty details.
